Faye Messer Stephenson, 75, of Raleigh, passed away suddenly Friday night, April 21, 2017 at Spring Arbor of Raleigh.
A Funeral Service will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service.
Born July 28, 1941 in Wake County, NC, Faye was the daughter of the late Burke C. Messer and Annie Stancil Messer Creech. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Ethel Speight and Shirley Page; and brothers B.C., Thomas, Hoover, and David Messer. She was also predeceased by her son Scott Stephenson.
Faye is survived by her sister Becky Wells and husband Jim, sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.
Faye was a graduate of Needham Broughton High School and was employed by the State of North Carolina from which she retired. She was also a member of Millbrook United Methodist Church.
