Abigail Jaye “Abby” Cox, 27, of Garner passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017. She was born January 30, 1990 in Raleigh.
Abby left her mark in this world by showing her love to everyone she met. Her love of others was contagious and unconditional. Abby was full of laughter.
Abby always tried to make others happy. She never looked down on anyone.
Abby was very excited to have a second chance at life by working as a rehabilitation counselor, doing what she loved to do by helping others get their second chance like her.
We lost a beautiful person that day, but we shouldn’t lose what Abby was saying to us. Consider…just consider giving someone you know a second chance.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the Montlawn Funeral Home chapel in Raleigh.
She is survived by a son, Julian Sean Gooding, her mother, Betsy R. Whaley of Garner, her father, Charles D. Cox of Cary, two brothers, Chason Cox and Adam Cox both of Raleigh, a sister, Beverly Chester and husband David of Okinawa, Japan, two nephews, Alden and Elliott Chester, and several cousins.
