Obituary for Brenda Marie Stevens

Brenda Marie Stevens, 61, of Garner, NC was born on September 14, 1955. She passed away peacefully on December 6, 2016. Brenda fought a long and courageous battle with health issues for many years. Brenda was a loving mother and sister and will be greatly missed. Brenda has moved on to a place of peace and comfort with her Lord and Savior. Brenda was preceded in death and is now rejoicing with her mother, Marie Norton; father, John Henry Norton and other family members. Brenda is survived by her two beloved sons, John Stevens and Christopher Stevens; one son-in-law, John Jones; four sisters, Linda Morton, Gail Strickland, Debbie Taylor and Alice Hobbs. A service celebrating Brenda’s life will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Haven Free Will Baptist Church 5408 Tryon Rd., Raleigh, NC 27606 beginning with a visitation at 12 Noon followed by a funeral service at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow services at Bethlehem Church Cemetery 8400 Poole Rd., Knightdale, NC 27545. Flowers are welcomed or memorial contributions may be made in Brenda Marie Stevens’ memory to Transitions LifeCare 250 Hospice Cir., Raleigh, NC 27607.
